My name is Dr. Rajib Borah. I am from Nagaon (Assam). I come from a small village called Missa Bhuyanpatty. I did my schooling from Good Shepherd Home (Amluckie). Completed my HS and graduation (major Botany) from Dhing College. I did my M.Sc. in Biotechnology from Gauhati University and completed my Ph.D. from NEHU (Shillong) in the area Plant Biotechnology. I was an average student from my school days, but have this urge of learning more and more. My curiosity led me to explore different areas of which Youtubing is a prominant one. After completing my Ph.D. i started to explore the world of teaching, and for the 1st time started my online teaching journey with my Hindi Youtube Channel (the phd guy). I realized that our own assamese students need guidance in the field of advance science. So i started my Assamese science channel (Axomia Bio) where i began teaching HS and degree students (especially botany) the core concepts of science in easy to understand local language. I also started my online note selling website (axomiabio.com) where interested students gets degree notes for absolutely minimal amount. There testimonials of how my video lectures and notes helped them to crack there exams with high grades, made me excited about these online journey. I began curating videos and study material to help the students more and i will continue doing this in near future. This website is also in line of my big dream of replacing offline college to Online full grown college (kind of), Where students starting from class VIII to students wanted to pursue higher education will benefit from this website.
